With Tul's settings, that looks pretty damn good. Especially the difference in shiny metal and the sky, and of course the general increased color range which does wonders to combat the Native game's somewhat washed out colors.
The main problem I see is that several textures are being displayed much too dark. As a prime example, those hussar comparison shots show dark red cloth for the armor normally but in the HDR version it looks pretty much black.

Tul:  Sorry to complain I just wish my GFX card was more awesome.  A, Go 7900 GS btw.  I think I might upgrade my desktop GFX card around the time Mount&Blade retail is released.

Very, very, brilliantly good there.

I feel a bit ashamed to ask, but would you be kind enough to write a quick tutorial of how to install it please?

Bravesirknight, I'm afraid you have DirectX 7 enabled in your M&B configuration. DirectX 9 is required (don't know if your graphic card can handle it).

No I run with DX9. Maybe it's an optimized driver I use... but it's missing terrain shadows, weird artifacts in towns, and the trees on the map look weird. I don't care anyway, it's a performance drain and a glamorized photoshop filter of an effect imo. ;)

1.) Heed this:

Well, if you couldn't figure out you have to change your gamma settings you better not download such stuff at all...

If you are confident you know how to adjust gamma settings...

 2.) DOWNLOAD this:

http://rapidshare.com/files/125830543/ENBSeriesM_B.zip.html

it is a hack job, don't expect it to change your world. Read the Readme(s)...

 3.) And this:

I forgot to tell those were settings for people that already use the ENB.

Rename "d3dx9_31.dll" to whatever dll is missing. And then you should have original package... pfft...

 whatever here is a download with this and the previous one you have everything you need;
 http://rapidshare.com/files/125856324/DLLs.zip.html

 once downloaded...

 4.) OPEN this:

 ENBSeriesM_B.zip

 5.) Then this:

 Readme-BeniOku-KON_Air.txt

6.) Pay particular attetion to this:

"PANIC RULES: IF YOUR HARDWARE STARTS ACTING STRANGELY EXIT APPLICATION AT ONCE. BECAUSE NEXT STEP IS SORROW AND A FRIED GPU."

 If that didn't scare you,

 7.) FOLLOW the instructions:

 They are pretty self explanitory.

 8.) EXTRACT:

 DLLs.zip

into the same Mount&Blade directory you extracted ENBSeriesM_B.zip if you haven't installed ENBSeries mod from http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru/download_en.htm previously or go ahead if you are having a compatability issue.

That's pretty much it.  Fire up Mount&Blade and hope it doesn't crash.

NOTE:  Shift + F12 to turn Bloom off/on.  Ctrl + Insert to take screenshots.

If you want to tweak the Bloom and what not, open up enbseries.ini in your mount&blade directory and have at it.  The settings are explained in detail in readme_en.txt

After some testing:

Found out that some things in the downloadable package are useless. Such as directX 9.27.dll. the normal .31 Works great and gives the same image and better performance. So forget about 9.27 (and possibly keys.txt and endb_re4(tbat's the config.ini for resident evil 4) if you want a cleaner installation, they don't do anything so they're extra crap)

For much better performance on nvidia cards: disable your AA, because normally with (normal) HDR enabled, AA isn't possible with nvidia, but because MB has a modified version, it constantly wants AA enabled. (= performance loss)

Real-Steel mod gave an interesting effect: (and the fps went from 60 vsynched to 60 vsynched :D)

->KON_air: Could you possibly upload using something other than RapidShare? Somebody with my IP address keeps on downloading files such that I can never get in.

Thanks.

I'm guessing that 'shiny metal' is enabled.

And it reminds me of 'Personal Avatar' from Magic: The Gathering.

New version available: 0.075(a):

http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru/index_en.html

And: here you can download any of them you want:

http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru/download_en.htm

About KON_air's download: 't was for the old version (where you had to change some dll's), with the above it's simply paste the not-readme/license files in the MB folder and play. EDIT: remove resident evil 4 config file too.

Cool sword eh?

I'm a bit lost, which version would work better with M&B?

I've tried several packages and the one uploaded by KON_Air is the most sophisticated. The version mentioned above has nothing that can be useful for M&B.
