How to Download EGII v4.40 Guide - ScreenShots

NOTE:
-Before you start the steps make sure you have Version 0.903 Beta M&B, you can check by going to your desktop, click the M&B icon, and on the main screen of M&B  it should tell you what version you have in the upper right-hand side.


You also need to download WinRAR: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm (click WinRAR 3.71), Since that is said, you can now go threw the steps one by one at a time on how to download Expanded Gameplay II (EG2 or EGII)!

STEPS:

Step 1. Go to: http://www.mbrepository.com/modules/PDdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=1&lid=576       
           
           - You should now be brought to a new window -

Step 2. Click Download Now.
           
           - Something should pop up, uploading the information -



Step 3. Once done Uploading, it should open WinRAR and a message should pop up, click close



Step 4. Where it shows 'Expanded Gameplay II v4.40' folder, you right click and click Extract to the specified folder



Step 5. Look for Mount&Blade in your desktop, where ever you placed it, My steps would be: Click Local Disk (C:), Then Click Program Files, and Mount&Blade would be under Program Files.



Step 6. Once you've found Mount&Blade expand the folder by clicking the + button.



Step 7. It should then now open for folders, Select Modules, not expand...



Step 8. Click OK. Wait for it to download, doesn't take very long.



Step 9. Open up Mount&Blade.
Step 10. Now on the upper top of the Mount&Blade screen, where it says 'Current Settings:', scroll down to Expanded Gameplay II v4.40



Step 11. Then click Play Mount&Blade and you can now play Expanded Gameplay II v4.40! Before you play, exit out of all other windows except for Mount&Blade!

Thanks ,Chel is the only one who can make it a sticky right? He already has intructions on how to download, and I just have the intructions with ScreenShots and it's a little more easier for the new comers ..

Wow. I just overwrote the 4.15 with subsequent versions, and it seems to run fine. Savegames also work, as far as I notice.

Uh, I followed all the instructions, my thing has the 4.19 source and files things in the folder, but it still says V4.18 when i open it up.

?? hmm.. That never happened to me..Weird, you'll have to ask Chel if he knows, But can you still play EGII v4.19??

that's just the folder name. if you copied files from 'version 4.19 files' then its version 4.19.
